wrote this for my language arts class like 2 weeks ago and wanted to know if you thought that this has to much detail. My friends tell me that I write with too much detail, to the point where it gets boring. Is this good or does it sound like a swallowed a theasuarus?

“Tour guide?” I said with confusion, my stomach churning with surprise from the unsuspected task. “That’s a pretty big responsibility and I don’t think I’m up to it, I can’t even keep track of my underwear let alone fifty other ants,” my emerald eyes searched up the body of Wise, his sun worn skin a canyon of copper wrinkles.
“If anything happens, no big deal, there are plenty of other younglings that would love to be a replacement for an ant such as yourself,” he smiled down at me, my legs shifting uneasily under his burning gaze. “No later than nine tomorrow morning, I’ll be awaiting your arrival in the Mess Hall and if you choose to not be there you will have to face the consequences,” he said and turned without a backwards glance, the shuffling of his worn slippers echoing off the jagged dirt walls.
I rolled my eyes and sat back down on my preserved potato bed, beads of sweat running swiftly down the side of my face. “Stupid old ant thinks he can scare me,” I mumbled with unease and pulled my leaf comforter over me. “Consequences,” I said and chuckled. What does that consist of, scrubbing the dirt off his feet? I smirked, the lids of my eyes drooping with exhaustion as the days memories flowed lithely through my mind.

I groggily opened my eyes and bellowed a boisterous yawn, grimacing at the stale bitter taste that littered the inside of my mouth. Almost time. I slid off the bed, bolts of pain erupting up the side of my thorax as my feet touched the ground.
“Consequences,” crooned an eerie voice. I looked cautiously around the room, my heart throbbing sickly inside my chest.
“Who’s th. . .” I began my question cut off by the intruder’s raspy voice.
“Consequences,” I turned towards the closet, its dark depths illuminated by glowing crimson stones. They blinked once, a withered ant stepping out of the darkness and into the rays of the morning sun.
“Wise what are you doing here?” I demanded and clutched my hand against my heaving abdomen.
“Consequences,” he repeated, foam cascading from his mouth and onto the earthen floor.
“It’s only eight forty-five. I. . .”
“Go now,” he said. “People are waiting for their tour and you’re going to give it to them,” the lines of his mouth stretched into a scowl, his serrated mandibles clicking together with blood curdling clacks.
I grabbed a blue cotton shirt as I went, my pace quickening and the intensity of Wise’s stare engulfing me in suffocating flames. Faster Ferdy. I said anxiously exerting all my power into my legs and slammed the wrapper door behind me. I think he has finally snapped. I thought frightened.
The door clicked open, haggard breaths audible over the heavy footfall of my bare feet. “Don’t disappoint me Ferdy!” he yelled. “You’ll be sorry if you do!”
I glanced behind me; his skin flushed with anger and his fists shaking threateningly towards me. I heaved the shirt over my head, stuffing my arms into the holes and rounded the russet corner leading to the rest of the colony. Glad that’s over. I thought, relief hungrily devouring my fear. But now’s there’s a job to do, one that I am not looking forward to. A sigh escaped my lips, the aroma of Tuesday’s breakfast drifting into the musky air. I edged to the right, the hole leading into the Mess Hall coming into view, the smell becoming more profound and mouth watering. My legs stopped abruptly the “consequences” coming to mind. No eating for now, a job is to be done and you don’t want Wise to know that you aren’t occupying your duty, do you? I looked longingly at the mess hall, saliva threatening to burst through the dam of my tongue. “No,” I said and shook my head. “Living is more important than food,”

I have a small puppy who sleeps in bed with my boyfriend and I. We have a very Expensive Hypo-Allergenic Duvet(down comforter) that we use to sleep at night. From time to time the pup pees on the blanket for unknown reasons, even if we have just taken her out.

She doesn’t have any urinary problems and she’s house trained in every other sense. At first we thought she may be smelling the duck feathers, and in turn marking her territory, but since the duvet is Hypo-Allergenic, it is made completely of cotton.

I was wondering if anyone knew where to buy a liquid resistant duvet cover?

We can’t spray the blanket with any deterrent spray for allergy reasons.

ALSO: Having her sleep on the ground is not an option, we love her in bed with us (plus she keeps me warm).

I’ve been wanting to change my room for the past year and a half. My parents have agreed to let me re-decorate my room. Since I am going into high school, they thought it would be okay for me to start fresh with a more older-looking room.

Anyway, I LOVE bright colors. Like Hot pinks, lime greens, light blues, and zebra prints. I want my room to be like that. I think I’m gonna go for hot pink walls and a zebra print bed, something cute and fun like that.
I’m having a hard time finding a good, zebra print comforter. Can someone please help me out with making my dream room?

I just moved to a new place and the walls need a new paint job. I have dark bedroom furniture, neutral carpet and curtains (they came with the place and are nice so I’d like to work them into the scheme), and my sheets are a sage color. id want to fall asleep on a ginormous soft bed with four blankets…egyptian cotton sheet followed by a soft nap blanket, then a quilt to maintain warmth, then a poofy comforter..(i sleep with 4 every night i freeze lol if you cant tell) along with my buddie =). wed be outside on the deck of a fancy, small hotel in Hawaii..secluded and you could see and hear the ocean but no one can see or hear us =P lol perfect…or i could go with a cozy warm cabin lit by a fireplace in the mountains in Colorado….or on a yacht in Lake Michigan =)

so much to think about… im gonna sleep well tonight lol =P
